Selah was born in Colorado when a herd of horses bound for Alaska stopped for some needed rest. Her mother gave birth and when it was time to move on the filly was left behind. She spent her first nine months alone and learned to get along with what she was given and when she got too lonely she jumped over the fences to visit horses in the neighborhood. At nine months old she had become a nuisance to the neighborhood and a danger to passing vehicles.
Diane heard about her through a friend and bought her soon after. Diane looks forward to riding the trails with her and letting Selah teach others what she has taught Diane about play, body language and speaking “horse”.
