Indian Summer, or Indy for short, is a registered black & white Paint mare who has survived some difficult times.  Originally from a ranch in Montana, she found her way to California and was severely beaten about the head.  She was purchased by Mary Renner who later sold her to Cindy McClenny.  These women spent several years helping Indy overcome her mistrust of humans. 

Since coming to live at the ranch, Indy has been able to overcome her head issues and has blossomed into a gentle, sweet mare who loves interacting with children and adults.
