 Horse Hospital: We are in need of a horse hospital area to treat our equine friends. The hospital will make it possible to do onsite veterinary care for equine emergencies, rescue work, and to care for horses already in our program. An existing building, donated materials, and donated labor will be used to build the hospital. We need $6,000 to purchase 2 stall walls, erect a metal roof cover, install a wash rack, build paddocks, install plumbing, and buy rubber floor mats.

Prayer: All of us here at MSYR are in constant need of prayer. The children, horses, staff, volunteers, board of directors, and ranch facilities are in constant need of protection, wisdom, and direction. Those who choose to lift us up in prayer are an incredible gift to us and the children and horses we serve.

Volunteers: Volunteers are both needed and wanted both as individuals and groups for special projects and work days. Children are welcome to volunteer when accompanied by a parent. Please download and fill out a *volunteer application and return it by mail so we can talk with you.

Specific items: Check back with us periodically as we update our Wish List:
Sand, DG for road base, and use of dumptruck to haul sand;
Children’s and youth saddles - Wintec type synthetic western style; Safety helmets in youth sizes;
Fencing materials - four 100' rolls of 2x4 non climb 4' high wire and two 12' wide gates;
Railroad ties; grass hay; and a John Deere Gator Utility Vehicle (diesel, all wheel drive), in good running condition. |
Financial Contributions: Although the ranch program is offered for free the maintenance and daily operations are costly. We exist on the generous donations and contributions of our supporters. One-time gifts, ongoing monthly support, and special project giving are vital to maintaining our program. Morning Star Youth Ranch is in need of donations to build the necessary facilities to house rescued horses and areas for youth to ride and interact with our recovering horses.
