Meet Ms Fire. This fine Appaloosa mare was our very first donated horse and although she is not here on the ranch property as yet she is very active in building our program.

Fire is 19 years old and was born in California although she spent most of her life in Oregon where she was loved and traveled the mountains near Bend.

She came to California in 2003 and spent 3 years with a loving family in Creston. When they needed to find her a new home she was offered to Morning Star. She has been working with our mentors in training, patiently teaching them how to be safe around horses and to speak “horse”.

She even was the star attraction at a recent birthday party. Fire will be coming here to the ranch as soon as our cross fencing is completed.
