TROY MEEDER VISITS MORNING STAR
Troy Meeder and his wife Kim, are the founders of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch. Together Troy and Kim have over 40 years of combined experience reaching both children and horses that have known abuse and neglect. Kim Meeder is author of the award winning book, Hope Rising. Troy is currently writing his own book about his work and experience in the ministry of the ranch.
Troy generously spent time over 3 days working with Morning Star volunteers. One full day was spent with the board of directors discussing the challenges of establishing policy, finding funding and working as a team. The day ended with a wonderful dinner with family and friends hosted by Matt and Amy Linn at their cozy ranch home. |

The Saturday following Troy met with our mentors in training to share stories of how one on one sessions at Crystal Peaks have changed lives in both children and their session leaders. The question and answer time was followed by lunch and book signing. A dedicated group of volunteers later came to the ranch for a Prayer Walk.
The general public was invited to hear Troy share about his ministry at Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch on Sunday, February 1st, at Covenant Presbyterian Church. Approximately 75 people attended and were blessed by stories of how abused kids respond and open their hearts to rescued horses. Troy spoke about hope, faith and living a life of being "All in" for Jesus Christ. |
