Troy Meeder and his wife Kim, are the founders of Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch. Together Troy and Kim have over 40 years of combined experience reaching both children and horses that have known abuse and neglect.  Kim Meeder is author of the award winning book, Hope Rising. Troy is currently writing his own book about his work and experience in the ministry of the ranch.

Morning Star Youth Ranch is working towards a similar ministry to that of Crystal Peaks with the vision to build bridges of hope, healing and restoration for local families through the interaction of working with horses rescued from neglect and abuse. Amazing miracles happen when children interact with an abused horse through the one on one supervision of our trained mentors. Morning Star has an all volunteer staff and a team of faithful and generous volunteers who make the ranch's free program possible.
